Dr. Meghann Longo Dietz welcomes patients of all ages at our Omaha and Bellevue offices. Dr. Meghann, a second generation orthodontist, continues the tradition of excellent orthodontic care her father, Dr. Alfred Longo, brought to thousands of patients in the Nebraska and Iowa communities. Our expertise, kindness, and commitment to our patients is what makes us stand out. Whether you are a child, teen or adult we have treatment options for all ages.
On your first visit to our office we will conduct a comprehensive exam to adequately assess the best course of action for your orthodontic care. This assessment includes X-rays, an intraoral scan, and photographs and also a conversation with Dr. Meghann about your treatment goals. Some of the treatments we commonly discuss with patients include:
Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, Clear Braces and Traditional Metal Braces

Invisalign offers adults and teens a more cosmetic, comfortable and convenient alternative to other types of orthodontic appliances. Designed to move teeth through a planned sequence of clear aligners, Invisalign is virtually invisible to the outside world. Transforming smiles with minimal interference to daily activities, Invisalign allows teens and adults to enjoy eating all of their favorite foods, and engage in sports without the fear of breaking their orthodontic appliances or sharp poking wires.

The most common type of braces seen today, remain “metal braces”. Made of high-grade stainless steel these braces are significantly smaller and have a lower profile than their predecessors from years ago. Each brace, which is known as an orthodontic bracket, is individually bonded to the front of each tooth. Metal braces allow for efficient and highly controllable tooth movement.

Dr. Meghann was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She graduated Marian High School, St. Louis University Magna Cum Laude, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry with High Honors. She achieved her Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Specialty Certificate (2008) from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked as an orthodontist for 3 years in Wisconsin before joining Longo Dietz Orthodontics in 2011.
